Q. Can you provide tooling with any size Bore?
We manufacture toooling with a number of standard bore sizes i.e. 30mm, 1¼"/31.75mm and 40mm as well as others. You can filter through our website products by the required bore size. We can also provide tooling in other bore sizes, so if you are unable to find what you need on the website, please get in touch with your requirements.
Q. Do you sharpen cutters?
Yes, we do as long as there is sufficient projection left on the blades. We may recommend purchasing a new set of cutters, rather than sharpening. Buying a new set is often more cost-effective for you over time and will be a quicker turnaround than sharpening.
Where cutters are in stock, they can often be sent out for delivery on the same day, or we can get them made overnight.

Q. What is the lead time for Bespoke Profile Grinding
For making special profile cutters, we generally allow 5-7 days as this can depend on the complexity of any drawings required and customer approval of the CAD drawing before we commence the work. Bespoke profile cutters can be turned around sooner if we are supplied with an accurate CAD drawing when the order is placed. For more details please see our Profile Grinding page.
Q. What is the Lead time for Special/ Bespoke Tooling i.e. Window and Door sets?
Lead times for special tooling and other bespoke orders will very much depend on the specification and technical requirements of the order. Please contact our sales team, who will be happy to discuss your requirements and provide you with an estimated lead time on delivery of your toolings.
Q. Will I be able to track the delivery of my order?
If your mobile number is provided when you place your order then tracking details can be sent to your mobile directly from the courier (where this service is provided). Tracking details will also be available in the order history section on your account page.
